Spay the Strays

Today I thought I’d share another desktop wallpaper. This one was designed to help spread the word about a very important and worthy organization that operations locally called “Spay the Strays”. This volunteer organization helps feed and care for feral cat colonies throughout Osceola County, including medical services, spaying, neutering, fostering and finding homes for rescued kittens and adoptable feral cats. If you’d like to help with something even as simple as a cat food donation, please visit their website or Facebook page.

The flower of the Passion fruit vine (Passiflora edulis) is one of my favorites. Delicate, intricate and exotic, it embodies the fullness and diversity of Creation. That’s just my opinion, of course, but I feel pretty passionate about it. 🙂

Free Desktop, iPad & iPhone Wallpaper: “A Dance of Light”

Today’s image is a simple abstract created by combining a fairly slow shutter speed with a night shot of a high-speed amusement ride. I took it using a Nikon D800 at ISO 320, f/14 at .8 sec., using a fixed-length 85mm lens.

I am giving away today’s image as a free desktop and iPad/iPhone wallpaper: just reverse click on the appropriately sized image for your device and save it to the mobile device or a hard drive. The image orientation was flipped from landscape to portrait for the iPhone versions. If you like it, please share it!
