Parallel Textures

“All photographs are memento mori. To take a photograph is to participate in another person’s (or thing’s) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time’s relentless melt.”
― Susan Sontag

Dark are your thoughts lately, Earl, but you come by them quite honestly, and I can see that you are using them well. I like the textures. The most profound art and the deepest faith are impossible without a bit of darkness in the mix.
