“Where you have friends you should not go to inns.”
— George Eliot
I’ve walked past this place a dozen times on various photo walks, but never before had the chair been in place and the light seemed so interesting. I’m not sure how long The Sapphire Inn has operated in downtown Kissimmee, but from the looks of the place, it’s been around a while. They don’t have a web page, but I do know they have cable — at least in unit 8.

Something about this picture reminds me of our trip from Utah. That trip was right for photo opportunities. Member that grand hotel we stayed in?

You mean the grand hotel YOU stayed in? As I recall, I slept in the van with the cats! LOL I wish there had been time for photography on that trip through madness.

I remember this building was built in the late ’50s or early ’60s with two occupants: Dr. (?) Tindall, D. O., in the space now the Sapphire Inn and Dr. Francis Murray on the other side, who examined eyes and obtained glasses. (I don’t remember his professional initials, but I used him two or three times in my youth.)

I figured it was from that era and I remember Dr. Murray, now that you have mentioned him.
