Kodak Retina IIa

For the next week, my daily photo posts will be featuring a series of shots done by painting the subjects with light. I did these using long exposures, a small LED flashlight as the only light source, a tripod, some black plexiglass, a bit of imagination and the fun of trial and error.

Today’s shot features the Kodak Retina IIa. Produced from 1951 – 1954, this one belonged to my great aunt and I am looking forward to taking it out for a street shoot in the next couple of days.

Nikon D300, ISO 200, 6 seconds at f/22, 35 mm
