Beware The Claw

In reality, it’s a simple piece of farm equipment. But taken out of context, it’s a horror movie plot waiting to be … um … executed. In any context, it fascinated me and I couldn’t wait to see what it looked like photographed.

  1. It is interesting where the mind goes when something is photographed without context or reference. Suddenly ordinary farm equipment becomes the razor-clawed hand of The Creature from the Black Lagoon…or the spiny dorsal fin of some prehistoric dinosaur.

This, in all honesty, is what I believe art is truly about: Being able to stir the mind of the viewer into seeing something for themselves.

    Well done Earl…well done. 🙂
